How to Book a Lesson

Updated March 28, 2026

Finding an Instructor

Start by browsing instructors in your area using the search on our homepage. Enter your city or zip code to see a list of available instructors near you. You can filter results by lesson type, price range, and certification to narrow down the best fit.

Each instructor profile includes their bio, certifications, lesson types offered, pricing, and reviews from past students. Take a moment to read through a few profiles before deciding.

Submitting a Booking Request

Once you've found an instructor you like, click Request a Lesson on their profile. You'll be asked to fill out a short form:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Preferred date and time
  • Lesson type (e.g., beginner fundamentals, short game, serve & return)
  • Any notes for the instructor (skill level, goals, equipment you have)

You do not need to create an account to submit a request. After submitting, you'll be prompted to create a free account so you can track the status of your request and message your instructor.

What Happens After You Submit

Your instructor will review your request and respond within 24 hours to confirm or suggest an alternate time. You'll receive an email notification when they respond.

Once confirmed, you'll receive the instructor's contact details and any additional instructions (court location, what to bring, etc.).

Payment

Students pay instructors directly — the platform does not collect payment from students. Your instructor will let you know their preferred payment method (cash, Venmo, Zelle, etc.) when they confirm your booking.
