What We Collect

For students:

• Name, email address, and phone number (when you create an account)
• Booking history and lesson requests
• Reviews you've submitted

For instructors:

• Name, email, phone number, and facility affiliation
• Certification information
• Payment method (stored securely via Stripe — we never store raw card numbers)
• Booking history and earnings records

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell personal data to third parties
• We do not display instructor phone numbers or email addresses publicly
• We do not share student contact information with instructors beyond what's necessary to confirm and conduct a lesson

How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Match students with instructors
• Send booking notifications (email and/or SMS)
• Process billing for instructors (new-student referral fees via Stripe)
• Improve the platform through anonymized usage analytics

Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Booking records may be retained in anonymized form for longer periods for platform analytics.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or request deletion by emailing support@bookgolflessons.com. We'll respond within 5 business days.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication and session management. We use Google Analytics to understand how users navigate the platform. You can opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings.
